BYCAST LEATHER
Better known by names like Royal Leather, PU Leather, Creta Leather and the like.
These types of leather are generally produced from cowhides, most often from the slit layer, which is tanned, dyed and subsequently grained (embossed with a leather pattern) to finally be applied with a layer of Polyurethane (PU) which protects the leather and gives the surface its characteristic shiny and smooth appearance. .
As “Polyurethane” is a plastic material, the finished leather is practical and durable, but has a somewhat lower flexibility and comfort than other types of leather.
